Philemon, Apollonius, & Arianus of Alexandria (d. 286) were martyrs. Apollonius, a Christian, devised an ingenious scheme to avoid being killed for not sacrificing to idols: he convinced pagan Philemon to swap robes with him and sacrifice in his stead.
